The 263rd BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

In 2764, the unit was stationed on Midale^[1], assigned as a part of the LXX Corps, Fourth Army, to District 3 of the Federated Suns Military Region but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising 2765.^[2] The 263rd suffered heavy losses, and was disbanded in 2766.^[2]

The commanding officer in 2764 is Major General Garth Svensen.^[3]

As an SLDF BattleMech division the 263rd BattleMech Division would have been formed from two Brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.^[4]
