Overview
The Two Hundred Eighty-sixth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XVIII Corps, Seventeenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery in 2765.[1]The 286th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech division the 286th would have been formed from two Brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[2]
