3rd Luthien Guards

Revision as of 21:45, 24 July 2011 by Revanche (talk | contribs) ("Traitor's Kiss" does not mention anything of the Guard being recognized for their withdrawal; the 3rd withdrew, not others; the 3rd is 2nd Sword of Light, so were absorbed into 9th after the Jihad;)

Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The Stormwalkers were a armored "Tank" regiment, which served as a supporting/complimentary military regiment to the Draconis Combine's 2nd Sword of Light Regiment. The unit consisted of wide array of different front-line combat vehicles, scout assets, artillery and other support vehicles.

Unit History

Jihad & the Battle for Luthien

On New Year's Day in 3068, the unit fought against Kokuryu-kai-influenced elements of the Second Sword of Light, and its mercenary support unit Sathen's Snipers, for control of the Imperial Palace. Fighting alongside palace defenders, such as the Otomo and Izanagi Warriors, the unit failed to hold their ground. They were, however, able to provide withdraw from the field of battle due to the delaying actions of the loyalist samurai troops.[1]
