Unit Brief
The 3rd Quentin Protectorate Militia is one of the many militias raised by Word of Blake to defend the Word of Blake Protectorate. As of 3075, the unit was deployed in Quentin along his sister units the 1st Quentin Protectorate Militia and the 2nd Quentin Protectorate Militia.[1][2]
History
Quentin was absorbed into the Word of Blake Protectorate during the Jihad. It became the baseworld for the 47th Shadow Division and raised three Protectorate Militia divisions. These divisions were trained by Khasparov's Knights.[3]
In early 3077 Sorenson's Sabres raided the world in force, but didn't encounter any Manei Domini troops.[4]
The planet was targeted for liberation by the allied coalition in May 3077 as a part of Operation SCOUR.[3]
At first, the Forty-seventh Shadow Division did not show up, and the Coalition forces found nothing beyond the Protectorate Militia. Though well-equipped, the Militia's skills were no match for the elite forces of the Draconis Combine and Clan Wolf forces that shattered the militia.[1] Then the campaign quickly bogged down when the allied forces were struck by terrorist bombs on the 17th of May 3077 that hit three DropShips as well as a Manei Domini attack aimed at the commanders of the task force, which included Kanrei Kiyomori Minamoto.
