The Home World of the 5th Davion Guards is Alcyone

Third Succession War

The Fifth was stationed on Spica in 3017 when the unit was attacked by Capellan Confederation forces secretly led by Candace Liao. The invading forces cut the command battalion off from the rest of the regiment in city of Valenica. Major William Dobson and Lieutenant Justin Allard broke the siege with a risky plan and ultimately caused the invasion force to withdraw from the planet.

FedCom Civil War

The Fifth Davion Guards were deployed to counter pro-Katrina Steiner forces on Kathil and shortly after destroyed in February, 3065. Survivors were absorbed into the 3rd Davion Guards.

Officers

As of 3017 the Commanding Officer was General Sheridan Courtney.

As of 3062 the Commanding Officer was Marshal Linda Archer.
