The Fifth Deneb Light Cavalry was the first Deneb Light Cavalry unit formed by the AFFS.[1]

History
During the Clan Invasion the Fifth DLC was reassigned to the Lyran State Command. Most of their operations occurred after the Truce of Tukayyid, including a POW rescue on Sudeten. The unit was effectively destroyed in this fight, as the strength of the defenders was underestimated by approximately 50%. The surviving members of the Fifth were transferred to other DLC units to replace casualties.[2]

As of 3050 the commanding officer was Hauptmann General Andrew Terlecki.[4]
