Formation
The Eighth Alshain Regulars were formed at the end of the Ronin War, alongside the creation of the Alshain Military District.[1]

Clan Invasion
The DCMS command was the garrison force on Thessalonika when Clan Ghost Bear attacked that world in the autumn of 3051. They lost the battle, but tied up Delta Galaxy for for over a week with the help of the Twelfth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre. Roughly two-thirds of the unit was able to get off Thessalonika, along with some elements from the 12th.[2]
Operation Bulldog
Following the Truce of Tukayyid, the unit was the only remaining Regiment of the Alshain Regulars they where renamed the Eighth Alshain Avengers.[2] They were stationed on Pilkhua in early 3059.[3].
Dominion War
In 3062, the unit participated in an unauthorized strike on Alshain, triggering the Combine-Ghost Bear War. Survivors of the conflict with the Ghost Bears were executed, and the unit was removed from the DCMS rosters. [4]

Officers
- As of 3050, the Eighth's commanding officer was Tai-sa Tasha Geer.
- As of 3059, the Eighth's commanding officer was Tai-sa Mikail Breshnov.
Tactics
The Eighth learned quickly that the Clans could be hurt through protracted battles. Since Thessalonika, they spent their time honing their tactics to exploit this weakness.[2]
They uses their airforce for scouts mission and every convoys has its escorts for selfdefense. This unit has many skills that can hurt a enemy.

- The unit has 36 Omnimechs and can build 3 C3 company networks, also the unit gained many upgrades
- Ryu-Kami (Wing/Elite/Reliable)
- The translation mean Spirit of the Dragon. This unit use mainly Slayer, but is also test unit for new OmniFighters.
- 8th Alshain Avengers Infantry (Regiment/Veteran/Questionable)
- All troopers are trained in anti-Mech operations.
- The unit includes:
