Clan Invasion
The Ninth faced the Smoke Jaguar's Nineteenth Cluster on Schwartz in March 3050. In this engagement, Tai-sa Graham sacrificed his AeroSpace Fighters, Infantry, and Armor units to allow two battalions of 'Mechs to escape. The DCMS was not pleased[1].

Dominion War
During the Dominion War, the 9th Pesht Regulars were posted to Idlewind, and were one of the first commands hit by the Ghost Bear forces. Their commanding officer was killed early in the fighting and the 9th lost all unit cohesion. More than 90% of the unit's soldiers were killed, and the remaining troops were assigned to other commands to make up personnel losses.[2]
Officers
- 3050, the Ninth is commanded by Tai-sa Mark Graham. Graham has spent years granting favors and building a political power base. Tai-sa Graham was killed on Idlewind during the Dominion War[3].
Tactics
Tai-sa Graham uses his infantry and armor resources as "bait" for enemy units, which are then hit by the regiment's 'Mechs. This understandably causes tension between the different segments of the unit.
