Plot summary
On an unknown planet and an unknown date, the Tamar Cavaliers face the Clan Jade Falcon 5th Battle Cluster. Leutnant Colonel Jim Reeves fails to get into his assigned position, derailing the Cavaliers' effort to trap the 5th Battle Cluster and forcing Cavaliers CO Andrew Liddle into a desperate attack through burning terrain. In the ensuing clash, Liddle kills an enemy commander, but the fight continues...
