Overview[edit]

The Draconis Combine/Free Rasalhague Republic Infantry Armor Kit is the standard-issue armor kit for infantry of the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery and KungsArmé. Historically, the Draconis Combine has given greater support to its BattleMech forces (and more recently to battle armor production) than to its infantry, leaving DCMS soldiers the least-equipped of any Inner Sphere power. (The marines of the Draconis Combine Admiralty are quite another matter entirely however.) While their kit provides less protection against attacks compared to any other IS military kits, it does result in greater flexibility and freedom of movement. This same philosophy influenced the creation of the Free Rasalhague Republic's own military force, resulting in very mobile, if underarmored, troopers.[1]
