Star Colonel Esther Gilmour was the aide to Rho Galaxy commander SaKhan Roy Jorgensson, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Gilmour Bloodhouse, from at least 3145 to 3152.[1][2]

The aide to SaKhan Roy Jorgensson in his role as commander of Rho Galaxy since at least 3145, Gilmour acted as commander of the Galaxy in his absence. This was the case during the violence of the debate within the Rasalhague Dominion in relation to joining the Third Star League, when the Denier Omega Galaxy and Vega Protectorate forces attacking the Joiner Alpha Galaxy, with only the Seventy-third Battle Cluster escaping to warn Rho Galaxy.
Finding herself in effective command of both Rho Galaxy and the battered remains of Alpha Galaxy, as well as being cut off by the Vega Protectorate from the rest of the Dominion, Gilmour settled down into defensive positions from October 3151 until early February 3152. But the end of that 5 month period however, Gilmour's troops were becoming desperate due to their limited supplies. This stalemate, partly caused by Gilmour's hesitance to attack the Vega Protectorate when it was not clearly hostile, eventually broke when Alpha Galaxy's Star Colonel Albert Hall convinced the 243rd Battle Cluster's Star Colonel Juanita Thastus to challenge Gilmour for command of Rho Galaxy.
In the resulting Trial, Thastus killed Gilmour, and replaced her as the acting commander of Rho Galaxy.
