House Parata are one of the seven noble families that form the Founding Council of the Aurigan Coalition, traditional rulers of Tyrlon.[1]

History
The family had ancestral Tongan roots.
The House has focused on agriculture and aquaculture and is the least militaristic and expansionist of the Founding Houses. They were also one of the last Founding Houses to agree to join the original Aurigan Trade Partnership.[2]
