Kurt Larsen was a MechWarrior, who served with the Northwind Highlanders' Republican Guards, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Larsen had red hair and brown eyes.[1]
History[edit]
A native of Errai, Larsen was the grandson of a Lyran Commonwealth Colonel who served with Stone's Coalition, during the Word of Blake Jihad. Following the Blackout, while Larsen only had 5 years experience piloting a MiningMech, he answered the call to arms broadcast by Countess Tara Campbell. Leaving his family on Errai and arriving on Northwind with nothing but the clothes on his back, Larsen swore his undying fealty to the Highlanders, and proved to be an able MechWarrior trainee.
During the November 3132 Battle of Addicks, Larsen proved his worth in an IndustrialMech, by accounting for two destroyed enemy Amaterasu Combat vehicle and an assist on an IndustrialMech. This performance earnt him a slot in a real BattleMech, which had been captured from the Dragon's Fury.[1] As of 3133, Larsen was a member of the Guards Command Lance, headed by the Regiment's CO Colonel Denard Marcus. His other Lancemates were Melva Golan and Henryk Corya.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Larsen was known to have piloted a Valiant BattleMech, serial number DC144-09D, nicknamed "Stone's Legacy". This 'Mech was built in the Draconis Combine during the Word of Blake Jihad, and served with the Ninth Sword of Light during that conflict. Joining the Republic of the Sphere after the war, it came to be a part of the Dragon's Fury's Amaterasu, before being captured on Addicks by the Highlanders.[1]
