General

With the reintegration of former Chaos March worlds back into the Capellan Confederation, the CCAF saw the need to raise additional reserve regiments for the Liao Commonality which are know as Liao Cháng-Chéng.

History

The roots of these brigade lays partly in the former Liao Reserve, but with the horrendous loses from the 4th Succession War the command needs several decades to rebuild its former strength. Established as new units during 3060/61 the regiments fought mainly in the Chaos March region with some success but weren't involved in the St. Ives conflict.

During the Jihad the regiments of Liao Cháng-Chéng were seriously damaged. By 3079 only one was at half-strength while the rest were between thirty and forty percent of their pre-Jihad strength.[1]

Command Structure

Commander: Jiang-jun Do San Mu

Do San Mu is a experienced soldier which rose to the ranks quickly from the infantry formations to the pilot of a mech. Highdecorated and well known for her combined arms skills she leads the brigade after the early retirement of the former CO. Her aid, Jiang-jun Allen Dalmar, put his militia units in training cycle against the LCC units.

Available Forces

Davion machines are not uncommon between the ranks of these commands, because some militas turned the side without firing a shot and on the other hand after Operation Guerrero the CCAF could salvage large numbers of immobilized mechs. The normal composition includes a large concentration of light mechs, medium as cornerstones and heavy as the steamhammers of the command. The shift to the lighter weight influence the tactics and fighting style of all LLC regiments.

Units of the Liao Cháng-Chéng

Colors and Unit Insignia

Each unit is named after the current commander and this fact give the command coniunety through the time.
