Description
The Longinus is the Free Worlds League Military's attempt to duplicate Elemental Battle Armor. Though they were unable to match the orginal Clan-tech machine, the Longinus comes the closest of any Inner Sphere attempt, thanks at least in part to the help of the Word of Blake. Though it has slightly less armor than the Elemental, the Longinus has matched its ninety meters jump range.
The Longinus is probably named after the Roman Centurion Longinus, who pierced Jesus Christ with his lance, to see if he has really died on the cross.
Armament
