Malerie Faulkner was descendant of members of Clan Jade Falcon's touman, mercenary and later, officer of the AFFS.

History
Malerie Faulkner was a direct descendant of one or two Clans warriors, of Folkner (Bloodname), implied they were from Clan Jade Falcon. In an unknown date, she buyed an OmniMech and became mercenary, joining the unit Tally's Talons. By 3147, she had the rank of Captain and was the XO of Major Tallula Zheng, CO of the unit. By 19 September, she assisted to the negotiations of the contract renewal between Zheng and First Prince Julian Davion, feeling herself impressed by him.[1]
The 4 December, Malerie made a combat drop upon New Syrtis, as part of Operation CERBERUS, along with the rest of the Talons.Once on the ground, Zheng blamed Julian Davion by the Talon's damages, accusing him of using the unit as bait. That disturbed her, but didn't believe it. A day later, Tallula continued blaming the Davions, saying they were using their unit, and other mercenary units, as cannon fodder. When the Talons, the same day, joined the assault of the Cave, Zheng revealed Fauulkner than the Talons had been contractede in secret by Capellan Chancellor Daoshen Liao-Centrella to assassinate Julian Davion. And when the time of attack arrived, the day 7, Faulker was unable to commit a dezgra and so un-clanlike attack, and turned against Tallula's Shrike, saving the Prince's life. A fight ensued, and Malerie, to her chagrin, killed her superior and friend, later Julian asked her to stand down, she surrended to the Guards forces. She was the only known survivor of the Talons.[2]
Faulkner was later allowed to join Julian's personal entourage and enlist into the AFFS, with the rank of Leftenant. On 18 July 3148, on saso, New Syrtis', capital, she assisted, impotent, to a nerve terrorist attack, unable to do nothing. On 17 August, she fought against the Capellan's massive counterattack. When Danai Liao-Centrella engaged Julian with her Yen-Lo-Wang, she rammed it, saving the Prince again, before succumbing to her wounds. It is implied she died then.[3]
