History[edit]
Commander of the Protectorate Guard's Steel Guard regiment in 3050,[2] Marilyn Stroud would continue to lead the formation for nearly three decades. Relations between House Stroud and the Free Worlds League would steadily deteriorate following the appointment of Loren Bryce-Marik as commanding General of the Protectorate Guard, and would only worsen after the events of Operation Guerrero[3]
Outreach efforts made by the Word of Blake would eventually sway Marilyn Stroud and her Steel Guard to align with the Blakist military during the Jihad.[3][1] The colonel—along with her regiment—would eventually fall on Chara at the hands of Coalition forces in 3077.
