The Meredith's Marauders were a mercenary unit hired by the ComStar Explorer Corps to assist them in the search of The Clans' Exodus Road.[1]

History[edit]

In January 3056, the Marauders had engaged in two minor actions for control of the Clan Smoke Jaguar outpost in the Pivot system: first capturing the outpost only to quickly have it retaken by a Jaguar relief force. Despite being outnumbered, the Jaguars managed to defeat the mercenaries, apparently capturing or killing them all.

A minor naval engagement took place at the same time, as two Union-C-class DropShips with fighter escorts crippled and boarded the Marauders' JumpShip.[1]
