Philip Capet

Philip Capet - Early 31st Century Davion & later Solaris VII Mechwarrior. He is a native of world of Uravan and Federated Suns's Capellan March. He is also a hatred for against Chinese/Liao people.

Character History

Davion Service

While in service with House Davion, Philip rose up the ranks become a Sergeant. He became celebrated hero in Capellan March of Federated Suns in 3020s. He became hero due to his actions on world of Uravan which was given the Gold Starburst of Federated Suns. Secretly, Hanse Davion had given Philip the medal due to his celebrity status in Capellan March and hope he would retire. Since he had disobeyed orders and gotten half dozen Mechwarriors killed in process of him attempting to save his family during the Liao Raid.

He had refused to retire and was given position of command of a Mechwarrior training company on Kittery. His commander, Major Justin Allard dismissed him from military service when he discovered that Capet was planning to hijack a JumpShip and get revenge again Liao.[1]

Solaris VII

By 3027, Capet had journeyed to Solaris VII in the Lyran Commonwealth. There he became a "Davion" Mechwarrior and champion fighting battles in the arenas. He again made a name for himself fighting, rose to become leader of a unnamed Solaris Stable. January of that year, Philip facing off in his Rifleman against two Vindicators belonging to the "Teng" brothers (Fuh & Sze) in the Steiner Stadium. In this fight, he kills Sze Teng and winning the fight, but not knowing that it was fixed fight he was to win. He had collected string of would-be champions to fight with him, began to call it "Capellan Mafia".[2]

However, all the arrival of Justin Xiang, formerly Justin Allard. Whom began to take down every Davion warrior whom he faced. Philip send people confront him, and eventually tells them they wouldn't be a "man" if they did not disable the ejection system. Justin kills some of Philip's best people, Billy Wolfson and Peter Armstrong in various fights. Hanse Davion sends a communications offering Capet a world and regiment to command if he kills Xiang.[3]

After word Gray Noton's death reaches Philip and he goes to claim Noton's alcove in Valhalla. Justin stops him and tells him that he has no right. Justin also tells Philip his glory seeking here on Solaris and back on Uravan lead to death of his men and ultimately murdered own family.".[4] This enrages Philip beyond what he can stand, he finally caves in to fight Justin in arena match.

On May 26th, agree to fight in the Ishiyama area. On the pre-fight talk show, Pregame Palaver, Philip declared he was going to kill Justin and he had surprise or two waiting for him.[5] He meant it, during the match in arena. Capet leads Justin to a tunnel with steep three level crevasse. Here where two of his Capellan Mafia" were laid in waiting, a Firestarter & UrbanMech.[6] Justin, using late Gray Noton's heavy Rifleman named Legend-Killer is attacked, but is able to dispatched the two light 'Mechs.

By allowed his men to ambush Justin in upper levels of the crevasse. This action of whether away Legend-Killer's armor, would allow Philip have killing blow. Both his people's 'Mechs were destroyed, but Justin move down further into caverns. Philip during the ambush, manage to hide his Rifleman. Hidden a location where Justin would pass though a narrow tunnel, he could set out shoot Legend-Hunter's thin rear armor. Justin's mech passed him, he |opened up with all his weapon at Legend-Killer, but only to hit armor. However, Philip had been fooled by Justin's tactic of walking his mech backwards with his mech's arms flip over. Justin returned fired and knocked him unconscious. Then was killed by Justin simply shooting mech in head with autocannon shell.[7]
