The Ronin were members of an organized revolt which sought to oppose the founding of the Free Rasalhague Republic and undermine the authority of Theodore Kurita. They were led by Marcus Kurita and Vasily Cherenkoff. They were given the monicker "Ronin" to establish that they, under Bushido, had betrayed the Combine and were thus masterless.
