Description

The Tabanid is the lightest of the Hive drone aerospace fighters used by the Word of Blake. It is also the fastest, designed both as an interceptor and for performing quick slashing attacks against enemy forces. The Tabanid is controlled by an Improved Aerospace Smart Robotic Control System instead of a human pilot.

Weapons and Equipment

The Tabanid is equipped with a single ER large laser which allows the fighter to engage at long range and continue harrying a target without worrying about minimum range considerations. It also carries a Beagle active probe so it can cut through enemy jamming, and protection is provided by nine tons of heavy ferro-aluminum armor.

Variants

There are no known variants of the Tabanid drone fighter.
