There are so many its not funny. We are not a linkfarm (or at the very least, we ''shouldn't'' be); these should either be excised or split off into some sort of community portal. --[[User:Xoid|Xoid]] 20:56, 15 December 2006 (CST) | There are so many its not funny. Imported[edit]
After looking on Wikipedia for FASA and FanPro's entries, I realized that the BattleTech entry is all written as well. Plus, so many articles have been linked through it, by porting/linking from this article, many of the red links on BTW can be completed/started. I'll work on this through time, but please jump in and help. --Revanche 22:12, 29 September 2006 (CDT)

Comparisons?[edit]
"BattleTech ("BT" for short) is a science fiction universe and media franchise, often compared to Star Trek or Star Wars." I have never heard it compared to Star Trek/Wars. I'd sooner compare it to Transformers myself... I'm not from around here, but on Wikipedia you provide a reference for a claim like that. I'd change 'often' to 'sometimes' or 'occasionally' or reword it to 'comparable to' (which again could be considered an overstatement); or just get rid of that part of the sentence entirely (although I admit something would be missing then). ~Stranger from Wikipedia

BattleTech Universe[edit]
I have moved the article ftom BattleTech to BattleTech Universe as this reflects the wider IP in my opinion. Also allows for a disambiguation for the various uses.--Dmon (talk) 07:03, 7 May 2018 (EDT)
