Tigna Zatka, on 3027, was a Sho-sa. On 1 March, he lead three companies of the 2nd Sword on an attack against the planet Pacifica, searching to destroy the mercenary unit Kell Hounds, to avenge the humiliation the mercenaries had inflicted to the regiment during the Battle of Mallory's World (3013). However, the kuritan commander delayed the assault after being informed of the imminent visit on planet of the Hauptmann-General Sarah Joss and the Federated Suns Colonel Ardan Sortek, expecting to score a larger victory.[2]
However, the First Battle of Pacifica, as the Hounds later called it, didn't went as the kuritans expected: the Hounds expected them, so the 2nd Sword fell into a carefully laid trap, suffering heavy losses even before leaving their landing zone.
