History[edit]
Born on Hean, to an ethically Draconis Combine mother and a father descended from a Jihad era Federated Suns war hero, Crowder was the diversity of the Republic of the Sphere in microcosm. A 40 year old former AgroMech pilot with four children when the Blackout caused conflict to break out on her homeworld, her husband declared for the Dragon's Fury, causing her to fear for her life. She fled to the Swordsworn, joining the Prince's Men, attracted by the connection of their pro-Davion rhetoric with her father's distinguished heritage.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Crowder was known to have piloted a Uziel BattleMech, serial number LA361-20B, nicknamed "Mantis". This 'Mech was a recon variant, commissioned for the Lyran Alliance Armed Forces near the end of the FedCom Civil War, which was captured by the Word of Blake during the Jihad. Subsequently liberated by Stone's Coalition, it was assigned to a militia unit after the formation of the Republic of the Sphere, and then fell into the hands of the Swordsworn after the Blackout.[1]
