Winfred Schleicher was a professor and writer.[1]
History[edit]
He was one of the foremost experts on Star League English. After the appearance of Wolf's Dragoons, he was one of the few that said they descended from Kerensky's Exodus, based solely on his analysis of the speech patterns of Dragoons members. After the secret was revealed to the Inner Sphere, his prediction was seen as legendary.
In 3053, he wrote Clan Language, a book based on what he had been able to learn of them, published by Donegal Publishing Associates.
In between, he did extensive field research among the so-called Clan Wolf-in-Exile, as well as firsthand interviews with members of Clan Ghost Bear and Clan Diamond Shark in the Inner Sphere as well as numerous Homeworld Clansmen during the first Babylon Diet, as he spent a lot of time at the Second Star League embassy on Strana Mechty and accompanying Father Mircea Ilionescu to the Babylon Diet that Clan Cloud Cobra hosted.
In 3070, a second edition of Clan Language, revised with all the knowledge won and further investigations he had made, was presented by Donegal Publishing Associates.
His whereabouts during the Jihad are unknown once the Inner Sphere lost contact with the Clan Homeworlds.[1]
