The Baleena is a submarine designed for passenger and cargo service.
The Baleena was designed by Bluefin Technologies after it received a influx of cash after its stocks went public on Donegal Stock Exchange 2540. The Bluefin designed the Baleena serve as a Submersible transport vessel with passenger capacities for industries which operate in the deep oceans.
A number of these ships have been converted for use a luxury vessels, such as underwater luxury liners or as private family vehicles for the ultra rich. These sales have been to both House Steiner and House Marik corporations. Many others are used by corporations and tour companies.
Weapons and Equipment
The Baleena has equipped principally as a ferry with a 20 passenger capacity. Its cargo capacity has been divided two bays. One having a 40 ton cargo bay capacity which its cargo is placed in containers. The container bay has two doors placed on right and left of the it. The Baleena has a small separate 3 ton capacity cargo bay with access from rear mounted door.
The ship also comes with a small Light Vehicle Bay, with 50 ton capacity. The bay has a door mounted in front of the ship. This bay can be used to transport seagoing or dry land vehicles. Several of the Baleenas in use on Tharkad use this bay to contain a submarine or surface ship to augment exploration of the planet's ice caps.
The vehicle is equiped with following features, it has a Submersible Chassis and Controls Modification, 20 passenger seats, two steerage passenger cabins, two Mounted Searchlights which are both mounted in the front, and three lifeboats.
