History[edit]
In 3025, Miller and his Marauders were stationed on Layover.[1]
Fourth Succession War[edit]
With their homeworld still on Layover, the Marauders moved to Addicks in 3028 in preparation for the Fourth Succession War. On 12 November, the Marauders and the twelve regiments of Addicks March Militia boosted from Addicks with the destination of Ronel. Once on planet, after some interpersonal conflicts with Major General Dether DeBurke were resolved, the battalion of Kerr's Intruders was reduced down to a mere company.[3]
War of 3039[edit]
Prewar, Grissom was stationed on Bremond before transferring to Benet III in January 3039. Their Wave One target was Harrow's Sun with a 17 March planetfall. Unable to overcome the unexpected presence of Ryuken-yon, the Marauders were forced to retreat off world after suffering over 50% casualties. Following the conclusion of the War of 3039, the Marauders left AFFS employ.[2]
Retirement[edit]
At some point before 3049, Grissom retired and left the command to Susan Barber, resulting in the unit being renamed to Barber's Marauder IIs.[4]
Notes[edit]
There appears to be two Grissom Miller's active in the Federated Suns at this time. The other Grissom Miller, however, was on Capra during July 3039, nearly 90 lightyears anti-spinward from Harrow's Sun.
