Talk:Adventure Architects

Suggest deletion[edit]

This article does not imho meet our Policy:Notability criteria. It is definitely not a person, not even a pen name or pseudonym, and was apparently only ever mentioned once. You could even say the subject of this article is unknown, as the constituent members of this purported author team aren’t named anywhere - and if they were, they and not the group should be referenced. I concur with your reasoning. --Csdavis715 (talk) 10:38, 8 October 2023 (EDT)
I also agree it doesn't really deserve an article but I think it might be worth trying to do some digging before we justdelete it. I would prefer it ends up as a "factoid" at the bottom of an article some place that gone completely.--Dmon (talk) 12:38, 8 October 2023 (EDT)
Per House Marik (The Free Worlds League) and Handbook: House Marik, "Adventure Architects" referred to Walter H. Hunt and Richard K. Meyer, who apparently also worked on House Marik (The Free Worlds League). There is some background about them here - [[1]] --HF22 (talk) 08:45, 9 October 2023 (EDT)

Thanks for the research HF22, that was very helpful. I have removed the deletion tag as I no longer think the article should be deleted; instead, I have reworked it with this information. I have, however, removed it from the PeopleReal and Authors categories - unsure how to categorize it but neither of these two categories seemed accurate. I have also scrapped the infobox as it was poorly suited to the article's subject. Frabby (talk) 10:24, 8 November 2023 (EST)
