History
The Thirty-first York Regulars were stationed on Tukayyid in 2765. The unit was the home of the Ryder family, the former rulers of York. Their placement in this unit was a punishment for their ancestor's rebellion. The other troops of the Thirty-first were petty criminals and malcontents who couldn't fit in with any other unit. As a result the Thirty-first had an extra platoon of military police assigned just to keep the unit functioning.[1]
