Unit Brief

The 34th Division was a "hidden" militia unit of the Word of Blake. The unit undersized when it first appeared, was known for its operation in Blake's Federated Suns,Capellan & later in the Periphery Military Theaters in early parts of the Jihad.

History

Attacks in FedSuns

The 34th Division appeared in combat in 3069 when in committed its limited number force to capture of FedSuns' world of Schedar. Which the unit easily took the planet, due to its lack of defenses and nervous leaders whom had been isolated by the White-Out of the HPG Communication network. The two Level III units were able secure the planet begun the training of its new Protectorate Militia force.

Tikonov Invasion

In September of the same year, elements of the Purity of Honor joined with the 26th Division in process of conqueroring Capellan held world of Tikonov. They help isolated, then invaded the planet. Purity of Honor and it sister unit meet with stiff resistence, where fighting resulted the destruction of the HPG Station.[1] However, the blakist forces are able to secure the planet despite continue resistences. Remainer of the the Division arrives here and the unit is shipout with serveral mercenary units and transferred to Periphery Military Theater.

Magistracy of Canopus Operations

The unit arrived in April 3070, where the unit invaded capital world of Canopus. The local defenders such as the Raventhir's Iron Hand, were unable stop the Division's occupation of the capital city of Crimson. The unit gained reputation during their occupation for being a fierce fighting unit. However, even with mercenary command assisting them, they were unable secure the planet. In April 3071, the 41st Shadow Division arrived to assist conquest of Canopian capital by setting it a blaze.[2] The resulting battle and ruin of the city end in killing of Magistracy's leader Magestrix Emma Centrella and her leading general Senior General Hadji Doru.[3] This help 34th Division manage situation, with organized resistence scattered.
