History
The 3rd Ceti Hussars RCT were part of the Ceti Hussars brigade, formed with the purpose of conducting short raids.[citation needed]
Formation
Like the other Ceti Hussars units, the Third Ceti Hussars were formed from SLDF troops who preferred to remain in the Inner Sphere. The Third was originally formed from members of the SLDF's 199th Dragoon Regiment, 396th Dragoon Regiment, and 250th BattleMech Division.[1]
As of 3025, the 3rd Hussars were based on Immenstadt in the Capellan March.[2]

As of 3050 to 3062, the commanding officer was Hauptmann General Kellie Lee-Merrow, she becomes later a General.[5][6] [1] She was still in command in 3067.[4]
As of 3085 the commanding officer is Major General Edward James Miemi.[7]
Tactics
The entire RCT breaks into smaller subunits at battalion level and above with the goal to give an enemy too many targets and overwhelm him with sheer numbers.[1]
