Conner Sortek (Born ???? - Died ????) was a military officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns[1] and the son of noted hero Ardan Sortek.[2]

History

By 3077 Conner had been given command of the elite 1st Davion Guards,[1] the second of his family to command the 1st Guards in the last twenty years, as Bishop Sortek, cousin to Connor's father Ardan, had commanded the 1st Guards during the early years of the FedCom Civil War.[3] Operating as a part of Group II of the Federated Suns task force in Operation SCOUR the 1st Guards would fight in a number of campaigns; Connor is noted as having led the 1st Guards in the assault on Fletcher in late 3077 alongside Galen Cox and the Com Guard 2nd Army.[1]

Connor is known to have become disillusioned over what he viewed as a betrayal of the Guards by their liege lord, and to have taken up service with Devlin Stone and the Republic of the Sphere after the Jihad.[2]

Family

Conner is known to have had at least one son, Justin Sortek, who would command the 1st Davion Guards in the Dark Age Era as a part of the organization known as the Swordsworn.[2]
