Feral is a story by Jason Schmetzer that was published online on BattleCorps on 8 August 2008. It was also published in print in the fifth BattleCorps print anthology, Counterattack, in 2014.

Feral, the order when given strips all the rules away. There is only Dragoon and target. Those on Outreach learned this swiftly and painfully. But Feral is not a localized order, Feral is all.

Plot summary[edit]

An operation on New Canton that had been four months in the planning sees Wolf's Dragoons two points of Nighthawk XXI-armored troopers from the Seventh Kommando into the Word of Blake-controlled HPG compound to obtain intel on the Word's new plans for the Chaos March while more overt forces stage a diversion raid.
