Hardcore is a temperate and warm world that is known throughout the Magistracy for being one of the most successful entertainment worlds. Targeting the upper crust of Magistracy and Inner Sphere society, the various entertainments available range from the tame (like ballet) to terrifying (including blood sports). Every spring, Hardcore hosts a series of BattleMech duels in the northern hemisphere. The citizens and visitors view these matches either on private monitors or on large public monitors. In 3025 Hardcore also began relying on the film industry to assist its economy.[1]
