Jeanne Remoix was the daughter of a landholder on the planet Lee. She met her future husband, Reynard Davion, while he was a serving officer in the Federated Peacekeeping Forces; Reynard had been deployed to Lee as part of the FPF response to military actions launched by the Chesterton Trade League and Tikonov Grand Union.
