Description[edit]
As aggressive users of minelaying technology, the Capellan Confederation have developed specialized combat engineers dedicated to laying mines. Nearly every Home Guard unit maintains at least a company, if not an entire battalion, of Minelayer Infantry. Trained in spreading minefields in front of an advancing enemy force, their efforts have sometimes been the deciding factor in a battle. Some companies, most notably the 177th Field Explosive company of the Dynasty Guard, have been transitioned to front-line duty.[1]
Armament[edit]
For primary armament, Minelayers of the One-seventy-seventh use Gyrojet Rifles and carry minelaying equipment to perform their assigned task.
