System Description
Nouveaux Paris is a colony world located in the Deep Periphery, approximately 250 light years coreward of the border between the Inner Sphere and the Periphery, near Trelleborg and Bazaar.
Planetary History
Clan Invasion
During Operation Revival, the colony was occupied by Clan Smoke Jaguar.[1]
The Jihad
Following the fall of the Smoke Jaguars, Clan Hell's Horses established an outpost here, which was used as a staging point for their invasion of the Clan Wolf occupation zone and a supply dump for Clan Star Adder in their exploration of the deep periphery. [4]
In 3067 a Trial of Possession over information was fought between a Clan Star Adder scouting force and the escorts of a Clan Hell's Horses merchant fleet on what was only described as a "remote moon far from the primary star" in the system.[2]
Intelligence obtained by Star Colonel Brian Pryde of Clan Jade Falcon from a source in Clan Hell's Horses in January 3071 indicated that Clan Ice Hellion had been mustering a large task force at Nouveaux Paris for some time. Based on the breakdown of transport vessels given, Pryde estimated that more than ninety percent of the Ice Hellion forces were present at Nouveaux Paris, and he speculated that they intended to invade the Inner Sphere, possibly through the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone. Pryde's report to Loremaster Kael Pershaw was apparently intercepted by the Lyran agency LIC and subsequently leaked to the Interstellar News Network.[5]
Dark Age
By 3095 Nouveaux Paris had been destroyed.[3]
