Description

The RRV “Rock Rover” half-track is built by Pinard Elevtric Motors, which produces the vehicle for the Taurian Concordat's Mechanized & Motorized Infantry Platoons. The vehicle is built withstand the rigors of infantry fighting, working along side other small military grade infantry vehicles. Even though vehicle is not built for speed, it strong enough deliver is cargo of infantry to their target.

Armament & Capacities

The Rock Rover principly armed with Support Laser which is mounted in the vehicle's turret. The Laser has 30 shots it can fire before it is exhaused. Mounted in pair of pintle mounted automatic rifles in bubble turrets each side of the vehicle. These guns, come with 300 rounds of ammunition each.

The vehicle has Infantry Bay of 1,000 kg. with door mounted in the rear of the vehicle. The capacity allows for a full squad of troops. Also, the vehicle has additionally a 779 kg. cargo capacity door also to the rear of the vehicle. The crew has access to a single handheld Searchlight, mounted in its front.

Variants

  • Commercial Security Model - The is a civilianized version of the Rock Rover which is produced for security forces. The vehicle's weapons & general cargo capacity are dropped for increase in vehicles speed.

  • Rumbler-HT - This is a 3 ton Infantry Vehicle which similar to the Rock Rover, it is produced by Gienah Automotive.
  • Limpet - This 4 ton Infantry which produced by Draconis Combine based manufacture, Buda Imperial Vehicles. The vehicle is a virtual copy of the Rock Rover with exception of its main weapon. The Vehicle mounts a SRM Launcher in place of Rover's Support Laser.
