Sharron Burgoz (Born 2997 - Died 3049)[1] - House Kurita MechWarrior, ISF Informer and member of the Sorenson's Sabres.

At Age 52 in 3049

Character Description

In her youth blonde haired Sharon was often described as a truly beautiful woman. Her personality was another story and she was known to severely punish or even kill those who drew her disfavor. Known as Mistress, Sharon was renowned for her poisonous personality and she habitually gathered information which she then used to manipulate people for small favors[2]. In later years Sharon became haunted by the death of fellow MechWarrior Soderstrom, degenerating and becoming less able perform her duties. Towards the end of her life Sharron Burgoz was a bitter, broken woman and was suicidal when in engaged in combat.[3]

Sharron is the daughter of a family with a history of being informants for the Draconis Combine's ISF. Her mother gained lands equal in extent to a barony for revealing information to ISF. The information that earned this land was at the expense of the Wilcox's, causing an ongoing family/Oyabun feud between the Burgoz and Willcox families.

Sharon went to school and graduated with honors from the Sun Zhang MechWarrior Academy. It was at this school where she learned her leadership techniques and honed her skills in interrogation.[4]

Early Years with the Sorenson's Sabres

Sharron would be assigned to the 5th Sword of Light's independent company, Sorenson's Sabres in their Fire Lance in 3022.[5] She quickly settled in as unit's ISF informant, using her information she would collect on the unit's members to manipulate them for small favors. On raiding mission on Cimeron in 3025, she would extract information from a captured and wounded Davion General Arthur Harmburg. This information would be key to Tai-sa Daniel Sorenson's Strategy in proceeding with the campaign.[6]

At Age 29 in 3026

During this time, it was rumored she had developed a secret relationship with Command Lance MechWarrior Izora Soderstrom. Where Izora secretly rescued Sharron from one of the Willcox oyabun's last attempts on her life in late 3020s.[7]

During the Fourth Succession War, she would along with the unit's parent force, the 5th Sword of Light, land on Nusakan and fight against the Kell Hounds in 3029. During this battle despite Sabres fighting on outskirts battle that proved devastating to the 5th Sword, her customized 5N Trebuchet would be destroyed in the fighting. Afterwards she was assigned to brand-new production 7K, which functionally identical to her customized 5N.[8]

Later Years with Sorenson's Sabers

In March 3034, Free Rasalhague Republic had formed, with its formation saw split of loyalty among many of Rasalhaguian members of the Company. In April, two of the Sabre's MechWarriors, Iora Soderstorm and Lt. Sveinson lead a defection group of techs and other non-combat personnel would lead attempt join new Republic from their base on Togura. Sharron and rest of the Sabres would pursue defectors. A battle would ensue between former comrades, where errata PPC blast would hit her former lover's Phoenix Hawk, detonating its machine gun ammunition, killing him. The battle would end in sad victory for the Sabres, with her 'Mech destroyed yet again and Sharron a changed woman. Though she would boost in taking down Soderstorm, she would be haunted.[9]

In the years, rebuilding the unit, she slouches off on her reports to ISF. While in combat, she would show some uncertainly her ability to fight should her unit member be in close by. She would be noted for her efforts interrogating pirate band leader Florence "Tap” Tappis in 3042. This and raids on Enif, would lead to the Sabre's return to active duty again for DCMS.

In 3048, the unit would be called into service handle series of Davion probing actions along Draconis Combine border. In Sabre's campaign, they learn one of the probing forces is the famed Fox's Teeth. The Sabres moved to strike the Teeth's base on Benet III in June of 3049. In the ensuing battle, the Sabres are forced to withdraw.

In this action, Sharron, sacrifices her life to cover the Sabre's escape.[10]

Notes

Sharron is a noted Trebuchet pilot, where she named her machine Snowball. Her Trebuchet was customized 5N variant, which later became offical version known as the 7N. She would go on to have three of these machine until her death.[11][12]

Sharron was a proficient in use of a neural whip, which was gifted by ISF Supervisor.[13]

Game Notes

The character in Sorenson's Sabers profile, had some noted characteristics. Aside from her BattlMech piloting and gunnery, she also had skills in survival, technician, pistol, interrogation and leadership.[14]
