History

The Snarl was an Overlord-C-class DropShip in the Clan Wolf Touman as of 3050. Listed among the support vessels of Khan Natasha Kerensky's 13th Wolf Guards Cluster (The Wolf Spiders), Alpha Galaxy, it was attached to the Clan Wolf flagship Dire Wolf.[1]

In this capacity, the Snarl took part in the Battle of Radstadt on 31 October 3050.[2] and later carried the Black Widow and her Wolf Spiders to take part in the Battle of Tukayyid where they performed an Combat Drop onto Tukayyid itself.[3]

Notes

  • With appearances stemming from the earliest Clan sources prior to the introduction into canon of the Clan refits of classic Inner Sphere DropShips, the Snarl was initially described as merely an Overlord-class though many assumed it was meant to be an Overlord-C-class by default. It was not until the Battle of Tukayyid anthology story We Do the Impossible was it specifically called out as an Overlord-C in comparison to the Open Prairie which was cited as a Overlord and seeming to acknowledge the difference between their types.[4]
