History[edit]
The Twenty-first Vanguard Battle Cluster was one of Kindraa Kline's most experienced defensive units,[1] and were deployed to Dagda in 3059.[2] During the Hellion's Fury campaign, they fought the Seventy-eighth Hellion Lancers Cluster on Foster and captured several armored vehicles from the Hellions during the campaign. Although the fighting took its toll on the Cluster as the Twenty-first's commander was killed in the swamps on Foster.[3]
The Cluster was lost fighting Clan Star Adder in 3067, its matériel was used to rebuild the heavily damaged 27th Vanguard Battle Cluster and the 42nd Vanguard Battle Cluster.[4]
