The 1143rd Gatekeeper Cluster was originally a Clan Burrock unit that was subsequently Absorbed into Clan Star Adder and renamed.

Clan Burrock[edit]
The Eighty-second Burrock Guards Cluster garrisoned the Albion for one hundred and fifty years.[1] In 3059 the Eighty-second fought the 20th Crimson Guards on Albion. The Guards had been sent to support Clan Blood Spirit front-line units, and were given the task of capturing eight supply depots from the Herve Supply Facility located around their landing zone.[2] Star Captain Dale McFadden of the Guards refused to allow his Stars to intermingle, and while the Guards' assault was brutal and pushed the Eighty-second back, the Burrock counterattack destroyed McFadden's Star. The inability to take the supply station made the tough task of assaulting Albion even harder, resulting in a resounding defeat for the Blood Spirits.[3]
Clan Star Adder[edit]
After the Burrock Absorption the Eighty-second were renamed the 1143rd Gatekeeper Cluster and assigned to the Clan Star Adder Sigma Provisional Galaxy in the same role.[1]
