The Ninth Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History[edit]
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Aristotle,[2] assigned as part of XLIX Corps, Eleventh Army to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region and then transferred to District 2 in 2765 in response to the Periphery Uprising. The Ninth was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]

As an SLDF Jump Infantry division, the Ninth would have been formed from two brigades of Jump Troops, one brigade of BattleMech regiments, and two ground aero wings.[3]
