Alistair Reinhold was the commanding officer of the 229th Assault Binary of Clan Snow Raven's Beta Galaxy during the Golden Century.[2]

Star Captain Alistair, serving with the 229th Assault Binary, commanded an attack against Clan Ghost Bear's holdings on Brim in 2835. Evenly matched against the defending Bear Binary, Reinhold turned the tide after witnessing MechWarrior Melissa Harlow intentionally target the cockpit of a Raven 'Mech, killing the pilot. Rushing into melee with the Bear warrior, Alistair killed Harlow by crushing the head of her machine with his own 'Mechs right arm, and the ensuing melee left the Ravens victorious. However, the Ghost Bears were so aggrieved by Alistair's honorless actions that they asked the Grand Council of the Clans to declare both Alistair and his Pulverizer BattleMech dezgra. The Council voted in Alistair's favor but the stain on the Pulverizer remained.[1]
After Alistair earned his Reinhold Bloodname, he became the focus of no less than ten separate Ghost Bear attempts to reave his genetic legacy. Ironically, Alistair would die defending a Bloodname from reaving, although it was in defense against Clan Burrock and it wasn't his own Bloodname at stake.[2]
BattleMechs[edit]
Alistair Reinhold piloted a Pulverizer BattleMech during the battle on Brim and his un-Clanlike behavior permanently stained the machine's reputation.[1]
