Altona had been raided several times by Clan Nova Cat until they halted those attacks in mid-3056. Then, suddenly, in 3057 a Trinary from Clan Smoke Jaguar attacked the planet through Clan Nova Cat territory. Two of the stars engaged elements of the Fifth Sun Zhang Academy Cadre while the last star (a Nova) attacked via a high-altitude drop an isolated supply base, though they were surprised and beaten by the tenacity of Combine armor and infantry from the Altona Militia.[1]
