Tai-sa Gerald Nixon was the commander of the Fourth Dieron Regulars, with the Draconis Combine, from at least 3145 until his death in 3149.[1]

Command of the Fourth Dieron Regulars[edit]
The CO of the Second Battalion of the Murchison Heavy Armor, the Armor Regiment of the Fourth Dieron Regulars, Nixon was promoted to lead the Fourth as a whole following the death of its former commander during combat with the Third Federated Suns Armored Cavalry in the early 3140s. This appointment by Tai-shu Kambei Okamoto, caused some tension within the Fourth, since Nixon was not a MechWarrior.[2]
By December 3145, Nixon and the Fourth Dieron Regulars, was based on Small World as of 3145.[1]
Death[edit]
During Operation ERUPTIO in 3149, when Addicks was raided by the Republic of the Sphere, Tai-sa Nixon was killed during a head hunter strike by Knight John Schneider and the XI Hastati Sentinels.[3][4]

There is a conflict in the sources regarding the world on which Gerald Nixon died. In Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 19, the death is noted as occurring during the Battle of Dieron, whereas in Shattered Fortress it is noted as having happened on Addicks. In this article, as Shattered Fortress provides a fuller account, Recognition Guide: ilClan, vol. 19 has been treated as being in error.[3][4]
