History[edit]
After Kyalla Centrella was deposed by her daughter Emma in 3040, Baroness Sabine Griffin felt unable to serve the new Magestrix. Liquidating the vast majority of the family's holdings and resigning her commission in the Magistracy Armed Forces, Sabine set about forming her own mercenary unit: The Griffin's Pride[1]
In 3041 they formed on Herotitus and announced they were available for hire. Initially an understrength company of heavy and assault 'Mechs, supported by a vehicle lance, by 3054 they had used salvage to expand to a battalion sized 'Mech command, supported by an armor company and two modified Union-class DropShips.[1]
In 3055 they returned to the Magistracy of Canopus and accepted a ten year contract. As part of that contract they deployed every six to nine months to a new world along the Magistracy's border with the Marian Hegemony. In 3067 they were assigned to the Magistracy's border with the Fronc Reaches.[1]
3085 found them garrisoning the Nestor system in the former Free Worlds League.[2]
By 3145 the unit were working for the Free Worlds League stationed on Escobas.[3][4]
