Subato was working as a reporter on Mualang, when Clan Nova Cat's Lambda Galaxy (Clan Nova Cat) departed without orders from Combine authorities, and interviewed Galaxy Commander Shen Drummond who explained he was following a demand by Khan Santin West to redeploy to Irece.[1]
