$200 USD for a collectors' set of 30 pins
The BattleTech Lapel Pins are a series of thirty enamel pin badges announced by Catalyst Game Labs as a reward item available their crowdfunding effort for the BattleTech: Clan Invasion [Kickstarter campaign] which ran from 18 July 2019 to August 18 2019. Initially, only a small number of designs were available, but various stretch level goals expanded the range of options available. The stretch goals were all achieved, initially unlocking each of the original Clans selected for Operation REVIVAL, then the Homeworld Clans and Great Houses, followed by two mercenary commands, Clans that had been annihilated or absorbed prior to Operation REVIVAL, and finally ComStar and the Free Rasalhague Republic. Included as a Great House option was the Federated Commonwealth, and during the Kickstarter process for defining the stretch goals, those pledged at the highest two levels of pledge were consulted on designs to be included.
Initially, Lapel Pins were only available as one component of a Faction Pack, a set consisting of a t-shirt, cloth patch and enamel pin depicting the insignia of one of the unlocked factions. During the later stages of the Kickstarter the option to purchase "collector sets" of various of the Kickstarter items was added; backers could purchase a complete set of every available pair of faction dice, challenge coins, faction patches, lapel pins or t-shirts as a single item with a discount compared to the cost of purchasing each individually. The collector set of all 30 Lapel Pins was available at $200 USD. The option to add individual Lapel Pins as discrete add-ons was made available after the campaign closed, via the CrowdOx pledge manager. Each individual pin cost $8 USD as an add-on within the pledge manager, and each pin design has a different product code, and the product codes are listed in the CrowdOx pledge manager confirmation emails, although the product codes are not visible on the individual pins or the pin packaging.
Each of the following factions received a Faction Patch:
