History[edit]
Lucas Cameron-Witherspoon was born on Amity sometime in the late thirty-first or early thirty-second century. A student of history, he was deeply patriotic and wished to see Amity to regain its independence from the Wolf Empire. Upon inheriting the command of the Silver Hawk Irregulars from another family member, Ian Cameron-Witherspoon, he set about restoring the unit to its former glory in hopes that they would serve as a rallying symbol for the people of the occupied worlds. By 3146, he had grown the brigade to a full regiment, the Gryphons, and a battalion, which was to become the Falcons. Using his influence and connections, he managed to mold the Irregulars into a respectable fighting force and attracted many recruits. With him at their helm, they invaded and secured Stewart from Wolf Empire forces in 3151. When Gavin Stewart was critically injured during the fighting for that world, Cameron-Witherspoon took up his quest to restore the Silver Hawks Coalition and went on to recapture Amity, Helm, Concord, Danais, and Kalidasa in the years following.[3]
BattleMechs[edit]
Lucas piloted a distinctive Crusader Heavy 'Mech while on the field with his troops.[4]
